Neumann, who also earned MCAC Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year honors, led the Bruins with a .409 batting average and tied Wardian with 15 home runs. She was second on the team with 45 RBIs. In the circle, Neumann paced BU with a 23-10 record, a 2.83 ERA, and a school record 240 strikeouts, while recording 18 complete games with five shutouts. She earned MCAC Pitcher of the Week honors four times and Player of the Week accolades on three occasions during the season.
Wardian, the MCAC Newcomer of the Year, laced 15 home runs and eight doubles while collecting 37 RBIs with a .368 batting average. She led the conference with a .792 slugging percentage. Wardian was named the MCAC Player of the Week on March 28 after going 5-for-10 from the plate with four runs, two doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs.
Ellis, a two-time first team all-MCAC selection, led the Bruins with 46 RBIs, while batting .319 with eight doubles, 30 runs scored, and 10 home runs. She was named the MCAC Player of the Week on April 4 after going 6-for-12 at the plate with four home runs, four runs scored and nine RBIs in four games.
As a team, Bellevue blasted a school-record 48 home runs on the season.
The Bruins finished the 2011 season with a 32-19 overall record, a 12-0 MCAC mark, the MCAC regular season and tournament titles, and the program's second-straight appearance at the NAIA Softball National Championship.
