Simon Falcon

Simon Falcon joined the men's and women's cross country/distance track coaching staffs in August of 2018 after serving for two years as the head cross country and assistant track coach at Millard South High School.

Falcon is a 2014 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Kearney – and 2009 graduate of Bellevue West High School – where he earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Education with secondary endorsements in both History and Spanish.

In coaching the Patriots he helped mentor a two-time girls cross country state champion and a boys cross country state medalist. In 2016, Falcon guided both the boys and girls teams at Millard South to the Nebraska State Championships.

As an assistant in track, he coached a four-time gold medalist in the girls 1600m and 3200m events as well as coaching a boys state track medalist. Additionally, he coached numerous individual qualifiers in all distance races in both of his seasons at Millard South.

Falcon holds a USA Track and Field Level I Certification in Coaching and has gained additional coaching experience by serving as a volunteer with the Bellevue Breeze Junior Olympic Club.

As an athlete, Falcon earned three varsity letters in cross country and another in track at Nebraska-Kearney. During his high school days at Bellevue West, he qualified for three state cross country meets helping guide the team to finishes of third, seventh, and fourth place.
