Richard Marcoux ran a career-best in the 8K race, finishing at 27:05.3

MADISON, S.D. -- Junior Richard Marcoux (Omaha, Neb.) was named the North Star Athletic Association Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for his performance at last weekend's Greeno/Dirksen Invitational held at Mahoney Park Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb.
Marcoux finished his 8K race in 27:05.3, placing 133rd out of 318 competitors.
Marcoux set a huge lifetime best and moved into the eighth position on the Bruin All-Time 8K list. The deep field featured 36 teams, including ten from NCAA Division I.
The Bruins return to action this Friday, Sept. 23, when they travel to Wayne, Neb., to compete in the Wildcat Classic.
