LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Continental Athletic Conference recognized Bellevue University junior Ombeni Mubake (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) as the CAC's Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Mubake worked a textbook give and go up the near sideline before taking a pass at the six and one-timing a shot for the eventual game-winner against Northwestern.
For the season, Mubake now had three goals to tie for the team lead.
Bellevue (3-3-2) hosts Grand View University tomorrow evening at Papillion Landing. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
