LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Bellevue University sophomore Fletcher Hedge (Beccles, England) has been cited by the Continental Athletic Conference as the CAC's Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Hedge, a center back, helped the Bruins post a pair of shutouts in an unbeaten (1-0-1) week. He scored his second goal of the season in a 4-0 win over York on Saturday.
Bellevue (2-2-2) hosts Concordia University tonight for a 7:30 p.m. kick-off at Papillion Landing.
