Paparesta earns second team all-CAC honors

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Bellevue University freshman Romeo Paparesta (Bari, Italy) was selected by the Continental Athletic Conference as a second team all-CAC choice when the year-end awards were announced on Thursday.

Paparesta, a goalkeeper, started 16 games for the Bruins, totaling 55 saves and notching a .753 save percentage. He played a part in six shutouts, keeping four himself, while posting a goals against average of 1.15 in over 1400 minutes of work.

The Bruins are the No. 4 seed in this weekend's CAC Tournament and face host Georgia Gwinnett College on Friday at 10 a.m. with the winner securing one of two automatic bids to the NAIA National Tournament.
