Bellevue showcased their squad depth in their season-opening romp of Doane. Seven Bruins scored and a total of 10 found their way into the score sheet via goal or assist.

Sebastian Zapata opened the account, scoring in the sixth minute as he volleyed Zach Robbins' long-range free kick at the far side of the six yard box.

The score remained 1-0 until a pair of goals just 74 seconds apart put BU fully in command. Antonio Capra scored after Oumar Sissoko's initial attempt was saved, deflecting in the rebound in the 21st minute before Jake Cover chipped the keeper off a feed from Antonio Capra sprung him in behind the defense in the 22nd minute.

Alvaro Capra headed home the fourth goal in the 33rd minute off a free ball in the box.

Zapata, the lone Bruin to score twice, found his second strike in the 74th minute, this time volleying a Matias Daniel-Doren corner kick into the back of the net.

In the 80th minute, Alvaro Moros Sanz took a feed from Daniel-Doren behind the defense and made a move to beat the keeper before finishing into a wide open goal.

Moros Sanz then set up Erik Sanchez with a back pass to the edge of the 18 that Sanchez unleashed a howling one-timer into the goal in the 86th minute.

Daniel Smith scored the final strike, dribbling past four defenders and scoring while being pulled down from behind with just 12 seconds remaining in the game.

Doane's only shot of the night went wide and Jonathan Henkhaus picked up a shutout in his collegiate debut without needing to make a save.
