Recap: Bellevue 4, Viterbo 0
Bellevue wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, as Marvin Ramirez scored in just the third minute. Ramirez received a pass from Eli Brown, who was making his first collegiate start, at the edge of the 6-yard box and buried a shot into the back of the net.
Brown doubled the Bruin advantage in the 23rd minute when he sent a deflected pass into the back of the V-Hawk net. The goal was the first of his collegiate career.
BU carried that 2-0 lead, along with an 8-5 advantage in shots, into the halftime break.
The Bruins pushed their lead to 3-0 in the 61st minute after applying continued pressure throughout the early stages of the opening half. Ricky Reyes played a pass to Austyn Brinkley who calmly slotted home his second goal of the year.
Inaki Aldao added an 88th minute insurance goal off a pass from Reyes at midfield, that found him in stride, to pad the final margin to 4-0.
AJ Jarvis made one save and combined with Harry Wray as the Bruin defense picked up its fifth clean sheet of the season.
Bellevue out-shot Viterbo 21-6 in the game, including out-shooting the host side by a 13-1 margin in the second half.
