JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- Travis Hurd and Inaki Aldao each scored to lead the Bellevue University men's soccer team past the University of Jamestown by a score of 2-0 in NSAA action on Saturday afternoon at Rollie Greeno Field.

The wins sees Bellevue's claim back-to-back victories for the first time this season and improve to 6-7-1 (2-0-0 NSAA) while Jamestown falls to 4-5-1 (0-1-0 NSAA).

Bruin Head Coach Mark Heath-Preston said of the goal scoring, "We scored two great goals; Inaki (Aldao) with the first after good link up play from Millward and (Andres) Blanco then Travis Hurd with a lovely strike from 25 yards."

Aldao netted his second goal of the season in the 32nd minute to break the ice and give the Bruins a 1-0 lead and momentum as halftime approached.

Hurd sealed the victory in the 86th minute with his first goal of the season. His goal, like Aldao's, was unassisted as well.

On the game Bellevue out-shot the Jimmies 13-9 (7-5 on goal).

Harry Wray recorded his second-straight shutout with a five save performance to earn the win. His counterpart, Lasse Binder, also made three saves for the Jimmies.

Heath-Preston was pleased with the effort of the team as he credited Juvenal Jacinto as the Bruin's Man of the Match. According to Heath-Preston the other individual who stood out was Toby Millward who "had another good game." He went on to say that, "It's a good win and, more importantly, a good performance."

The Bruins return home on Saturday, Oct. 21 to host Presentation College at 3 p.m. for Senior Day at Bellevue Soccer Club.
