McPHERSON, Kan. -- The No. 17 Bellevue University men's soccer team leads John Brown University 1-0 with 26:07 to play after their match at the Red Card Cancer Classic, hosted by McPherson College, was suspended in the 64th minute.

Rob Smith put the Bruins ahead with a second half goal, slotting a shot over JBU keeper Adam Holt into the upper left 90 from 20 yards out.

The game will resume tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.

The Bruins will conclude the tournament Saturday afternoon when they wrap up their six game road trip. BU plays the host, McPherson, at 2 p.m.
