BELLEVUE, Neb. - Bellevue junior Alan Carr (Lincolnshire, England) and freshman Jacob Pease (Lincoln, England) were named Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive and Offensive Player of the Week, respectively, as announced by the conference.

Carr was a terrific two-way player for the Bruins on the week registering an assist on Wednesday at Central Christian scoring the game-winning goal against Oklahoma Wesleyan on Saturday. He anchored a back four which kept a pair of clean sheets in front of keeper Scott Robertson. Individually, he provided at least three bicycle clearances in the victory over No. 7 Oklahoma Wesleyan and broke up numerous passes in the box.

Pease was terrific for Bellevue on the week as he scored a goal and registered a pair of assists in Bellevue's 2-0 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan on Saturday. His assist to Alan Carr came off of a set piece from about 10 yards outside the 18-yard box when he sent a lofting ball among the heads and Carr connected for a goal. He used a number of other set pieces opportunities to set up the Bruins for scoring chances in both of the club's wins in its 2-0-0 week.

The No. 21 Bruins (10-2-1, 2-0-0 MCAC) will return to the pitch on Wednesday when they travel to York College for a 4:30 p.m. match with the Panthers.
