ATCHISON, Kan. – Senior keeper Scott Robertson (Burnley, England) posted his second shutout of the season as the Bellevue University men's soccer team picked up a 0-0 double-overtime draw against nationally-ranked Benedictine College on Friday evening.

BU now stands at 3-1-1 on the season following while the Ravens, ranked 13th in the preseason poll, are now 1-1-1 after the draw.

The first half was played about as evenly as possible with each team collecting five shots yet neither club was able to knock home a goal. Robertson made three saves in the half for the Bruins to keep the match scoreless.

The second half was also scoreless but Benedictine held a 6-3 advantage over Bellevue in shots for the period before the match headed into overtime.

Robertson finished with four saves to help Bellevue to the draw while his record now stands at 2-1-1 after helping the Bruins remain unbeaten in their last four matches. The match completed with the Ravens holding an 11-10 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.

Bellevue will return to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 10 when they host William Penn University at 5:00 pm at Tranquility Park in Omaha, Neb.
