BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- The Bellevue University men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with Oklahoma Wesleyan University Saturday afternoon in Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference action.
Bellevue is now 3-13-2 overall and 3-0-2 in the MCAC, while the Eagles finished the regular season as the MCAC champions with a 4-0-1 league record and 12-4-2 overall.
Luke Baxter played all 110 minutes in goal and recorded seven saves in Bruins' first shutout of the season. Omar Valencia registered 10 saves for the Eagles.
The Bruins outshot OWU by a 12-10, including a 10-7 in shots on goal. Graeme Eaglesham led BU with four shots.
BU has not lost a conference match since a 2-0 defeat at Park University on Oct. 20, 2007.
OWU will host the 2011 MCAC Men's Soccer Tournament on Nov. 4-5. Game times and pairings will be announced on Monday, Oct. 31.
