Great Falls tops Bellevue, 6-2

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- Manuel Espinoza scored two goals and recorded an assist to lead the University of Great Falls to a 6-2 win against the Bellevue University men's soccer team Sunday afternoon at Dumke Field.

With the win, Great Falls improved to 6-2-0 while Bellevue fell to 0-10-0 on the season.

Espinoza opened the scoring in the 11th minute on a shot from four yards out that beat BU goalkeeper Luke Baxter.

Ritchie Ponce put the Argonauts on top by a two-goal margin at 18:03 before Espinoza netted his second goal of the half at the 28:03 mark.

The Argonauts added a goal in the 38th minute to give them a 4-0 lead at halftime.

UGF found the back of the net 8:27 into the second half to expend its lead to 5-0.

The Bruins got on the scoreboard in the 56th minute on Antonio Pinto's first goal of the season from seven yards out on a pass from Emmanuel Pena.

UGF registered its final goal of the match at the 67:33 mark of the second half.

 BU scored its second goal of the match at the 69:08 mark on Graeme Eaglesham's team-high sixth goal of the year on a pass from Tom Dodds.

Bellevue out shot Great Falls 20-10.

The Bruins will play at No. 17 Columbia (Mo.) College on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 4:00 p.m.
