Heath-Preston, who was also named the MCAC Offensive Player of the Year for the second-consecutive season, led the Bruins to a 14-4-1 record, the MCAC regular season title, the MCAC-DAC-FAC Independent Tournament championship, and to the program's second-straight appearance in the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship. Bellevue advanced to the second round of the national tournament, before falling to eventual national champion Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), 2-0.
A native of Norfolk, England, Heath-Preston paced the 2009 Bruin offense with a team-leading 33 points on 13 goals and seven assists. He also had five game-winning goals on the season which tied for the team lead with freshman \#Graeme Eaglesham\#.
With one year of eligibility remaining, Heath-Preston already holds school records for career points (105) and career goals (44) and ranks second in career assists (17).
