BISMARCK, N.D. -- Junior Cayden Wynne was named the North Star Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week for his outstanding performance at last week's Falcon Lakes Spring Invite in Basehor, Kan.
Wynne, who was competing as an individual at the Falcon Lakes Spring Invite, was the top Bruin golfer on the day, finishing the tournament at even par with identical rounds of even-par 72. He finished in a tie for fifth place in the 52-player field. Wynne had four birdies and 29 pars on the day. The one-day tournament consisted of two 18-hole rounds.
Wynne is currently fourth on this year's squad with a 76.2 strokes-per-round average.
The Bruins will travel to Bullhead City, Ariz., on Mar. 25-26 to compete in the Laughlin Ranch Vegas Invite being played at the Laughlin Ranch Golf Club.
