BISMARCK, N.D. -- For the third time this season, junior Rodrigo Navarrete has earned North Star Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week honors for his performance last week at the U.C. Ferguson Classic.
Navarrete helped the Bruins win their third-straight tournament title by finishing fourth in the 85-player field at the U.C. Ferguson Classic. He finished the tournament at 9-under par with rounds of 67, 66, and 71 at the par-71 6,576-yard Lincoln Park Golf Course.
His second-round score of 5-under 66 was a season-best score for Navarrete.
His fourth-place showing was Navarrete's seventh top-5 finish and eighth top-10 placing in 10 events this season.
The Bruins will next compete at the North Star Athletic Association Championship on April 26-27 in Onalaska, Wis. The tournament will be played at the Cedar Creek Golf Club.
