SILVIS, Ill. -- Sophomore Andre Becerra turned in his best round of the week with a 2-over par 73 and finished tied for 73rd place in three rounds of play at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship being played at the par-71, 7,066-yard TPC at Deere Run.

Becerra is competing as an individual in the tournament after capturing the North Star Athletic Association Tournament Individual Title earlier this month to qualify for Nationals.

He recorded a pair of birdies, bogeyed four holes, and met par 12 times in Thursday's third round to finish 10-over for the tournament.

Oklahoma City vaulted to the top of the team standings and now leads at 4-under par as a team with scores of 290-282-276--848. Dalton State and Coastal Georgia are eight strokes back apiece at 4-over after three rounds of play.

Friday's final round will feature the top 17 teams and 40 individuals (including ties).
