For the eighth time in his career, senior Fernando Arzate earned NSAA Golfer of the Week honors.

MADISON, S.D. -- For the third time in the 2017-18 season and the eighth time in his career, senior Fernando Arzate has earned NSAA Golfer of the Week honors for his performance last week at the TPC Deere Run Invite in Silvis, Ill.
Arzate finished in a tie for fourth place in the 120-player field at the TPC Deer Run Invite. He shot a 4-under-par 67 in the opening round and a 5-over 76 in the final round, finishing at 1-over par for the tournament, helping the Bruins to an 11th-place finish out of 23 teams.
His first-round score of 67 was the lowest of the season for Arzate and the second lowest of his Bruin career.
The Bruins will travel to Indianapolis, Ind. on Mon.-Tue. Apr. 9-10 to participate in the Wildcat Cup at the Brickyard.
