Bruins finish in a tie for fourth at NIM

Final Results

FREMONT, Neb. -- The Bellevue University men's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place at the Nebraska Intercollegiate Meet hosted by Midland University at the Fremont Golf Club.

The Bruins finished with a two-day total of 650. Nebraska-Kearney won the tournament with a score of 613. Nebraska-Omaha placed second at 617, followed by Nebraska Wesleyan at 641.

Jeff Shermoen led the Bruins with a two-day total score of 154 (74-80), which put him in a tie for fifth place in the individual standings. Brady Vancura finished in a tie for 20th with a 164 (76-88). Javier Franco and Tanner Alder tied for 32nd with a total of 167. 

Nebraska-Kearney's Garrett Goldsberry won the tournament with a 3-over par total of 147 (71-76).

The Bruins will conclude the fall season on Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Oklahoma Christian Classic in Oklahoma City, Okla.
