PARKVILLE, Mo. -- The Bellevue Univeristy men's golf team, led by Tanner Alder's fifth place finish, placed fourth at the Park University Fall Invite at the Deuce National Golf Club on Tuesday.
Alder fired scores of 72 and 73 for a two-day total of 145, three shots behind the individual champion Yousaf Khan of Grand View University. Jeff Shermoen finished in a tie for eighth place overall with scores of 74-77--151.
Other Bruin golfers included Javier Franco (83-77--160) and Warren Martin (87-75--162).
Grand View won the tournament with a score of 576 while the Bruins finished with a total of 618.
The BU men's golf team will return to the course on Oct. 17-18 for the Nebraska Intercollegiate Tournament.
