Final Results
ANKENY, Iowa -- The Bellevue University men's golf team placed sixth at the Grand View Viking Classic Tuesday at the Otter Creek Golf Club.
The Bruins were led by Tanner Alder who finished in a tie for 15th place. Alder shot 74 on both days for a tournament total of 148 while Javier Franco had scores of 72 and 78 to finish tied for 22nd overall.
Other Bruin golfers included Warren Martin (74-80) and Jeff Shermoen (72-82) who both had two-day scores of 154.
Grand View won the tournament with a score of 565.
The BU men's golf team will return to competition on Sept. 28-29 when they participate in the Oklahoma City Invitational.
