Final Results
RIVERSIDE, Iowa -- Freshman Tanner Alder finished in a tie for second place to lead the Bellevue University men's golf team to a third-place finish at the 11-team Ashford University Spring Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Blue Top Ridge Golf Course.
Alder recorded a 1-over par two-day total of 145 (73-72) to finish in a tie for second in the 60-player field. John Milne was the tournament medalist with a 3-under total of 141 (66-75).
The Bruins' team total of 603 was 15 strokes behind tournament champion Mount Mercy University's total of 588. Kirkwood Community College finished in second with a team total of 592.
Junior John Matthews finished in a tie for 12th with a total of 151 (74 -77).
