KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Bellevue University senior Eric Pierce (Oceanside, Calif.) has been named an honorable mention NAIA All-American, as announced by the NAIA All-America Committee on Thursday morning.
Pierce becomes the 25th All-America selection in program history and the 20th different player to earn that honor.
This past season, Pierce averaged 11.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while totaling 68 assists, 59 steals, and 24 blocked shots. Last month he earned first team all-NSAA honors, finishing second in Player of the Year voting.
Bellevue finished the 2021-22 season with a 20-13 overall record and qualified for their 21st NAIA National Tournament. The Bruins posted a 9-5 mark in conference play to take a share of the regular-season title before going on to win the NSAA Tournament Championship.
