BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Five players scored in double figures and the Bruins nailed a school-record 22 3-pointers as the Bellevue University men's basketball team scored a convincing 119-48 victory over Oglala Lakota College Thursday night at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center. 

The 18th-ranked Bruins improved to 16-7 on the season with the win. OLC fell to 3-22 overall. The 119 points was a season-high and the ninth-highest total in school history. 

Jerred Cook led the Bruins with career-high 24 points, while hitting six 3-pointers and adding three rebounds and an assist. Wes Burke also notched career highs, finishing with 23 points and seven rebounds. TeShon Burton tied his season-high with 20 points, while adding seven boards. 

All 10 Bruins that suited up scored in the contest, which BU led by as many as 74 points in the second half.  

Bellevue shot 56 percent from the field while hitting 22-of-40 shots from behind the arc. The Bruins also benefited from a season-high 64 rebounds, led by Eric Quall's career-high 14 boards. The 64 rebounds were the second-most single-game total in school history. 

BU held the Bravehearts to 23.5 percent shooting from the field, while forcing nine turnovers. 

The Bruins return to conference action next Friday, Jan. 22, when they host Waldorf College at 7 p.m. in the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.
