BELLEVUE, Neb. - Junior Percy Lemle (Carson, Calif.) has been named Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the conference. Lemle helped the sixth-ranked Bruins to a 2-0 week with come-from-behind victories over both Central Christian College and York College as Bellevue improved to 16-3 (2-1 MCAC) on the season.

The 6-3, combo guard averaged 30.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game last week. Lemle notched a career-high 27 points and a game-high nine rebounds in a 98-91 win over Central Christian on Friday night. Lemle made nine of his 14 shots from the field and nine of 11 shots from the charity stripe while dishing out four assists and recording a steal.

Lemle followed that up with a clutch 34 points, setting a new career-high Saturday evening in a 90-86 victory over York while adding five rebounds. He scored 25 points in the second half to help Bellevue overcome a 12-point deficit. He connected on nine of his 18 attempts from the field while going 2-of-4 from beyond the three-point line and hitting on 14 of 16 free throws and handing out two helpers and getting a steal.

The Bruins will return to the court on Friday when they travel to #12 College of the Ozarks for a 7:30 p.m. match-up between ranked teams.
