POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Junior guard Dominique Grant has been named the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week in an announcement made today by the league office. 

Grant averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, 2.5 assists, and two steals in the Bruins' two wins last week at the MCAC Tournament, helping BU advance to the MCAC Tournament title game for the fourth-straight season. 

Grant recorded his third double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds in Bellevue's 55-54 win over Waldorf in the opening round of the league tournament. 

He collected 19 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals in the Bruins' 58-55 victory at No. 21-ranked York in the MCAC semifinals. 

Grant has recorded double figures in scoring in eight-straight games.

Bellevue (23-9) is currently ranked No. 19 in the nation and will host College of the Ozarks in the MCAC Tournament championship game on Tuesday (Feb. 26) at 7 p.m. at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.
