Overwatch turns in another dominant week in Tespa competition

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Bellevue University Overwatch team continued their unbeaten start to the season with four more victories across three Tespa competitions.

The Bruins improve to 8-0 in all competitions on the season (4-0 National League | 2-0 Regional League | 2-0 Varsity League).

BU took home a pair of National League victories on Sunday over Northwest Christian and Kennesaw State in convincing fashion as the team won both matches by scores of 2-0 as they were not seriously challenged in either match.

Building off that momentum, Bellevue made it 3-for-3 on Sunday with a 2-0 Regional League victory over Dakota State as the Trojans were overmatched from the start.

Following a perfect Sunday, Bellevue entered Tuesday's Varsity League match with a 7-0 (1-0 VL) record and easily dispatched of Central Methodist who fell to 0-2 in Varsity League play.

Both the Overwatch and League of Legends teams will be in action this weekend at the Midwest LoL Open in Wichita, Kan. on the Wichita State University campus.

Additionally the League of Legends team will play their second RIOT CLoL North Conference match (opponent TBA) on Saturday while the Overwatch team will play both their National (opponent TBA) and Regional (vs. Kansas State) League matches on Sunday.

The Overwatch team's next Varsity League match is against Stephens College on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 8 p.m.
