BISMARCK, N.D. -- Bellevue University senior Dustin Schorie (Chandler, Ariz.) has once again been chosen as the North Star Athletic Association Baseball Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the NSAA office on Monday afternoon.
Schorie fired his first complete game shutout of the season last week, striking out eight and allowing just four hits in a 10-0 win over Peru State College.
He has not allowed an earned run and struck out 16 batters in his last 14 innings of work, lowering his ERA to 3.65.
Schorie now stands at 5-1 on the season and has struck out 46 over 56.2 innings of work. He has a WHIP of 1.16 and opponents are batting just .215 against him.
Bellevue travels to Fremont, Neb. tomorrow for a 5 p.m. game at Midland University before hosting Mayville State University from John Stella Field at Brown Park for a four-game series beginning Friday at 1 p.m.
