SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Junior left-handed pitcher Brennan Henry was selected in the 17th round by the Kansas City Royals while senior left-handed pitcher/outfielder Kyle Kinman was picked in the 25th round by the Atlanta Braves in the first-year player draft.

Henry earned second team all-conference honors after posting a 9-2 record with 101 strikeouts in just 77.2 innings of work.

Kinman, an honorable mention All-American, batted .387 with 18 doubles, five triples, nine home runs, 66 RBIs and 11 stolen bases.

The Omaha, Neb., native led the nation in strikeouts with 141 and was named the MCAC Pitcher of the Year. He compiled an 8-4 record and a 1.85 ERA in 92.1 innings of work.

He was named the NAIA National Player of the Week on March 18 after striking out a school record 22 batters which was also the most in the NAIA this season.

The Bruins finished the season ranked No. 14 in the NAIA with a 40-17-2 overall record and an 18-6 mark in the MCAC.
