POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- The Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference named Galli Cribbs the MCAC Player of the Week while Kyle Kinman was awarded the conference's Pitcher of the Week in an announcement made today by the league office.

Cribbs batted .467 (7-for-15) with eight runs, six RBIs and two stolen bases in four MCAC road games last week.

In BU's doubleheader at College of the Ozarks on March 14, he went 5-for-7 at the plate with six runs scored, five RBIs and one home run.

For the season, he leads the team with a .402 batting average and has recorded six doubles, one triple, one home run, 20 RBIs, 11 stolen bases and 20 runs.

Kinman struck out a school record 22 batters in the third game of the weekend series against the Bobcats on March 15. The 22 strikeouts are also the most in a game this season in the NAIA.

He gave up just four hits and didn't walk a batter in the complete game. Kinman also finished with two hits, two RBIs and one stolen base to lead the Bruins to a 6-2 win.

Kinman has compiled a 3-1 record with a 2.27 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 31.2 innings of work. At the plate, he's batting .358 with six doubles, two home runs, 21 RBIs, 14 runs and four stolen bases.

This marks the second time in his career Kinman has been named the MCAC Pitcher of the Week. He earned this same honor on April 22, 2013.

The Bruins (13-6-2, 3-1 MCAC) will travel to Briar Cliff University (7-11) tomorrow (March 18) for a single nine-inning nonconference game. First pitch is slated for 2:00 p.m. at Bishop Mueller Field.
