POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Junior Kyle Kinman has been named the MCAC Pitcher of the Week in an announcement made today by the league office.
Kinman appeared in three games on the mound last week, earning a win and a save on the week.
He did not allow a run in 10 innings pitched, including a 2-0 complete-game shutout victory over Dakota State in which he scattered four hits, while striking out 10 batters.
He earned a save in the Bruins' 9-7 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan, allowing just one hit while striking out two in the final two innings.
Bellevue is currently 38-7-1 on the season and 17-3 in the MCAC and is ranked No. 6 in the latest NAIA top 25 poll.
