Tanner named second team NAIA All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Junior center fielder Tanner Moore was named a second team All-American announced today by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association (BCA) All-America Selection Committee.

Thirty-two players were named to the first and second teams while an additional 35 athletes received honorable mention recognition.

Moore, who was named the MCAC Player of the Year, hit .388 with 51 runs scored, 20 doubles, two triples, six home runs, 51 RBIs and nine stolen bases.

The 2012 Bruins finished with a 40-21 overall record, winning the MCAC regular season with a 17-3 mark, advancing the NAIA National Tournament for the second-straight year.
