Alan Carr joined the Bellevue coaching staff in 2016 after a four-year standout career with the Bruins.

Carr was a four-time first team all-conference selection, anchoring a stout Bruin defense throughout his career. In addition to all-conference accolades, he was twice named Omaha World-Herald NAIA all-Nebraska and was a four-time selection as the conference defensive player of the week. In his final season of 2015, Carr was named an Honorable Mention All-American pick.

He was selected the NSAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2015 after helping the team post nine clean sheets while splitting time between centerback and outside back. Opponents managed just 4.70 shots on goal per game against Bellevue.

Carr's versatility on both ends of the field was showcased throughout his career as he scored four goals (including two game-winners) and five assists in a BU kit. In 72 career games, he helped BU blank the opposition on 29 occassions.

During his four-year career, Carr led the Bruins to a 46-24-7 (17-2-1 in conference) record and claimed five conference championships (three tournament, two regular-season). Bellevue reached the NAIA National Tournament in each of the last three years of his career with trips to the final site in both 2014 and 2015.
