KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Following her second-straight North Star Athletic Association cross country title, Madison Nelson will again represent Bellevue University on the national stage.
Nelson was announced as one of 80 individual qualifies for the NAIA National Championship race to be held Friday, Nov. 18 in Tallahassee, Fla. at the Apalachee Regional Park. The race is scheduled for a 7:30 a.m. start.
During the regular-season, Nelson earned NSAA Runner of the Week honors in each of the six weeks she was eligible. She won the conference title race by a margin of 15.8 seconds and for her efforts earned both first team all-NSAA and NSAA Runner of the Year honors.
