
SEWARD, Neb. -- Dayana Montano-Salama broke a school record in one event while also recording a season-best in another to highlight the Bruin women's performances on Friday at the Concordia Track & Field Classic.
Montano-Salama improved her own school record in the 1,000 meters by six seconds, running it in 3:48.26, good for ninth place.
She sliced eight seconds from her season-best in the mile run, finishing in 16th place at 6:36.49.
