LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Bellevue University women's cross country/track team established a new school record in the 3000-meter race and improved marks in three other events on Saturday at the Prairie Wolf Invitational.
The 3000-meter record was established by Lorena Ramirez with a time of 12:12.15 as she finished in 18th place in the event.
The three marks improved upon were:
10. Dayana Montano-Salama, 1000 meters, 3:54.46
11. Isabelle Gonzalez, 800 meters, 2:42.12
17. Lorena Ramirez, 1 mile, 5:52.03
The Bruins next compete at the Concordia Classic on Friday, Jan. 31 in Seward, Neb. Action begins at noon.
