Coach Craig Christians:
"Lorena Ramirez ran an outstanding race with a very hard final mile to put herself on the podium. To run a PR in windy conditions over a tough course really speaks to the kind of quality runner she has become. Today's meet was a great opportunity to see how she stacks up against a couple of the stronger North Star Individuals from Dakota State and Dickinson State. Based on today's results, I think she has a great shot of advancing to Nationals."
"I thought we ran really well as a team today. We had a couple of the toughest workouts of the year this week so they were running on tired legs. We'll give them some life back over the next couple of weeks and they'll be primed for our conference meet on November 8."
