Volleyball ranked No. 2 in final NAIA Top 25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Fresh off its historic run at the NAIA National Championships, the Bellevue University volleyball team ends the 2024 season with a No. 2 national ranking. It marks the highest finish for the volleyball program in school history. 

The Bruins, under the guidance of head coach Trish Siedlik, wrapped up the 2024 season as the NAIA National Runner-Up with an overall record of 32-5. Bellevue captured the North Star Athletic Association regular season (9-1) and post-season tournament titles while advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the 17th time in school history. Their second-place finish at Nationals was the best showing in school history. 

Four Bruins earned AVCA All-American honors, with junior outside hitter Eve Fountain and junior rightside hitter Kealy Kiviniemi earning first-team honors. Junior middle blocker Savanna Berger and senior middle blocker Haley Fleischman garnered honorable mention accolades.  Siedlik was named the NAIA and AVCA National Coach of the Year.
