OMAHA, Neb. -- Voting is now open for the Omaha Sports Commission's Female Coach of the Year award. Bellevue University head volleyball coach Trish Siedlik is one of four nominees for the 2024 Female Coach of the Year honor. The award will be announced at the 2024 Omaha Sports Commission Awards Show (OSCAS) on May 30.

Voting is open from April 9 until April 26.

The event will be held on at The Relevant Center in Elkhorn, Neb. The Olsson Red Carpet Reception begins at 5:30 p.m., with the OSCAS show commencing at 7 p.m.

Coach Siedlik guided the Bruins to a 26-10 record this past fall, a second-place finish in the North Star Athletic Association regular season, a runner-up finish in the NSAA Tournament, and the program's 16th NAIA National Tournament appearance.

Siedlik has a 508-195 (.723) record in 18 seasons at BU and a 632-216 (.745) career record in 22 seasons as a collegiate head coach. Her .745 career-winning percentage ranks sixth among active coaches in the NAIA, and her 632 wins rank fourth among active NAIA coaches.

The Omaha Sports Commission Awards Show, presented by the Lerner Company, affectionately known as the OSCAS, honors top athletes, coaches, and sports performances from the Omaha metropolitan area via individual awards and by inducting the next Omaha Sports Hall of Fame class.
