LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Senior Rachel Muller recorded her 17th double-double of the season with 16 kills and 17 digs to lead Bellevue University to a 3-0 (27-25, 25-18, 25-17) victory at Haskell Indian Nations University Saturday (Oct. 17) afternoon in MCAC volleyball action.
With the win, Bellevue improved to 21-6 overall and 9-0 in the MCAC. Haskell fell to 5-15 and 2-7 in league play.
The Bruins have now won seven-straight matches. Bellevue has also won 24-straight regular season conference matches dating back to the 2007 season.
Sophomore Maureen Wardian collected nine kills on .429 hitting while adding six total blocks.
Junior Katy Gregory led the Bruins defensively with a match-high 19 digs. Senior Gabby Pfannenstiel joined Gregory and Muller in double-figure dig totals with 11.
Freshman Jordan Broady and junior Kylie Davis split time setting with Broady dishing out 28 assists in two games of action and Davis collecting 10 assists.
The Bruins will host Peru State on Wednesday (Oct. 24) beginning at 7 p.m. at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.
