Sebastian Narvaez begins his first year as an
assistant coach on the Bellevue University women’s soccer
staff in 2011 after a four-year standout career as a goalkeeper for
the Bruins.
A native of Cali, Colombia, Narvaez holds the school records for career saves (263), wins (44), shutouts (19) and ranks second with a 1.17 goals against average.
Last season, he was named a honorable mention NAIA All-American while leading Bellevue to a 13-6-1 overall record. He earned all-MCAC first team honors in 2010 and 2009 and was also named to the all-MCAC second team as a sophomore and freshman.
Narvaez also excelled in the classroom and was a three-time MCAC Scholar-Athlete. He will complete his bachelor’s degree in December.
