
BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Tom White has announced the signing of Lily Naylor (Sheffield, England) to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue beginning next fall.
The daughter of Steve Naylor and Karen Collins, Lily attends Buxton and Leek College under the guidance of James Tew.
Naylor's club career with Chesterfield F.C has seen many accomplishments after making her debut at the age of 17. Lily was a key figure that saw Chesterfield Ladies make the first round of the FA cup as well as becoming runners up in the league and county cup.
Lily was called up for to the TGK squad which is an independent club that is made up of players from Great Britain and overseas to play in several international tournaments.
Coach White on Naylor:
"We are very excited that Lily will be joining us this fall. She has a huge passion for the game and strives constantly to get better. From our first conversation we knew her character would be a great fit for our program so we are thrilled she is in the mix".
Naylor joins the previously announced Jordan Zielinski (Omaha, Neb./Elkhorn North HS), Olivia Wahl (Papillion, Neb./Papillion-La Vista HS), Izzy Ashby (Omaha, Neb./Papillion-La Vista HS), Lizbeth Barrera (Aurora, Colo./Western Nebraska CC), and Prescillia Casu (Ajaccio, Corsica, France/Narcelin Bethelot Insep Paris HS) in the Bruins' 2025 recruiting class.
This past season, Bellevue posted an overall record of 9-5-3, claimed the No. 2 seed in the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament, and reached the CAC title game for the fourth-straight season.
