Women's Soccer announces Zielinski as first 2025 signee

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Tom White announced the signee of Jordan Zielinski (Omaha, Neb.) to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at BU beginning next fall.

Zielinski is the daughter of Ben Zielinski and Aimee Avelyn. She plays at Elkhorn North High School and has earned a copious number of honors throughout her career including Eastern Midlands Conference First Team All-Conference and OWH and LJS All-State Honorable Mention.

Zielinski plays her club soccer with Gretna Elite Academy where she is coached by Alan Carr. She is the first announced singee in the Bruins' 2025 recruiting class.

Coach White on Zielinski:

"Jo will be an exciting addition to the squad who will make an immediate impact. She will come in and raise our level even more with her technical ability and tactical understanding. With the majority of the squad returning, we had to make sure we brought someone in the mix who is going to complement our style and a player we think that could gel quickly with the other bruins on and off the field."

This past season, Bellevue posted an overall record of 9-5-3, claimed the No. 2 seed in the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament, and reached the CAC title game for the fourth-straight season.
