Bruins announce addition of Steele to Women's Soccer class

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Tom White has announced the signing of Aimee Steele (Newcastle, England) to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue beginning next fall.

The daughter of Patsy Steele, Aimee attended Sunderland FC College.

Steele played under the Sunderland FOL college program in her time in England before joining Murray State Soccer.

During her two-year spell at Murray State – Steele captained the team as well as contributing to 5 goals and four assists last season.

Coach White on Steele:

"We are very excited that Aimee will be joining us this fall. She will fit in well with this group with her personality and the way she plays the game. After watching her through her time at Murray we expect her to kick on even more and make an immediate impact".

Steele joins the previously announced Giuliani Gagliolo (MF/Omaha, Neb./Millard West HS) and Bethan Cowd (MF/D, Torpoint, Cornwall, England/Murray State) in the Bruins' 2024 recruiting class.

Bellevue wrapped up the 2023 season with an overall record of 12-3-1, claiming the top seed in the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament where they reached the CAC title game for the third-straight season.
