Georgia Gwinnett had the lion's share of the ball going forward in the first half. The Grizzlies racked up a 5-1 advantage in shots, including all four on goal, and took three of the four corner kicks in the opening 45 minutes.
The best chance of the early going came from GGC's Victoria Watson less than two minutes into the game but Sabrina Staufenbiel stood tall in goal and redirected the shot off the crossbar to keep the game scoreless.
Georgia Gwinnett broke through in the 30th minute when Clara Lidquist pounced on a cross into the box, after a failed clearance, and took a shot from the edge of the 6-yard box. Staufenbiel got a hand to the shot and slowed it but the shot had too much momentum and bounced across the goal line.
Late in the first half, Bellevue won a free kick in a dangerous area with a chance to equalize but Emah Maahs' header missed the frame.
GGC had a chance to double their advantage in the 54th minute with a cross into the box but Joy Mertzig saw her shot turned away.
Bellevue saw their best chance come in the 59th minute with a free kick from just off the edge of the 18. Alba Petit put her shot on goal but Matilda Johansson made a diving stop.
The Bruins got a huge save in the 67th minute when a defender cleared Mertzig's header off the line.
Georgia Gwinnet finally found their second goal in the 74th minute when Addie Adame unleashed a strike from distance that sailed just under the crossbar.
An insurance goal in the 80th minute by Bre Harvey off a free kick put the game out of reach.
Sabrina Staufenbiel, Britney Nolte, Morgan McIlnay were each named to the CAC All-Tournament Team for their standout performances.
