OMAHA, Neb. -- First half goals from Reyvin Hernandez, Kylee Mastromonaco, and Laura Cook paced the Bellevue University women's soccer team past College of Saint Mary by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Heritage Park.

Bellevue out-shot CSM 21-4 (12-1 on goal) in the game as the Bruins earned their third-straight win to improve to 4-2-0 on the year. The Flames fall to 2-5-0 with their third loss in four games this month.

The Bruins received unassisted goals in the 21st and 31st minutes off the feet of Hernandez (her team co-leading fourth of the year) and Mastromonaco (her second this season), respectively, to grab a 2-0 lead just past the half-hour mark.

BU effectively put the game out of reach in the 41st minute when Kylie Taylor's corner kick connected with Laura Cook to make it 3-0 to the visitors. The goal was the first of Cook's Bellevue career.

BU's Laurence Rodier and Sabrina Staufenbiel combined for the shutout with Rodier stopping the only shot on goal either keeper faced.

Justice Ross took the loss in net for the Flames despite finishing the game with eight saves.

Bellevue is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 16 with a 1 p.m. contest in Sioux City, Iowa against Morningside College.
