MADISON, S.D. -- Bellevue University sophomore midfielder Reyvin Hernandez (Omaha, Neb.) has been named the North Star Athletic Association Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference.

Hernandez served as a key cog for the Bellevue offense, both creating opportunities and making plays in a pair of 2-0 Bruin victories. She scored in impressive goal from 35 yards out at Grace and assisted on the game-winning goal against Waldorf to seal the North Star regular-season title for BU.

She tallied four shots (three on goal) on the week, made numerous quality runs, and set her teammates up in position to make plays on countless occasions. For the season, Hernandez now has three goals and a team-leading seven assists.

Bellevue is hosting the NSAA Women's Soccer Championship from Thursday, Nov. 3 through Sunday, Nov. 6 at Omaha South High School's Collin Field.

The top-seeded Bruins (10-5-1) received a bye to the semi-final round after winning the league's regular-season title. They play Friday at 5:30 p.m. against the winner of Thursday's first round game between fourth-seeded Presentation and fifth-seeded Waldorf.
