JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- Freshman Helen Schweiger scored the game's lone goal to lead the Bellevue University women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over host University of Jamestown Saturday afternoon in North Star Athletic Association action.

Schweiger netter her first career goal, unassisted in the 41st minute to provide BU with all the offense they would need.

Sophomore Laurence Rodier got the start in net, making four saves to record her fifth shutout of the season.

Sophomore Madison Lambert led the Bruins with four shots while freshman Jordyn Seidel and senior Michelle Dolder each finished the match with two shots on goal and three shots total. BU out-shot the host Jimmies 15-8 and doubled them up in shots on goal, 8-4.

The meeting was just the third all-time between the two sides with Bellevue having won the previous two contests, including posting a 2-1 victory in overtime last season.

It was the seventh time in the last eight matches that Bellevue recorded a shutout to lower their team goals against average to just 0.82 on the year.

The Bruins (8-3-0/1-1-0 NSAA) return to action on Tuesday with a 2 p.m. North Star match at Presentation College.
