JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- The Bellevue University women's soccer team won its third-straight match on Saturday after defeating the University of Jamestown, 4-1.

With the win, Bellevue improved to 7-6-3 overall while Jamestown fell to 7-10-0.

Lauren Clark put the Bruins on the scoreboard first with a goal off a pass by Mercy Darkoah in the 32nd minute.

The Jimmies tied the contest at 1-1 on Amber Hillesland's goal at the 43:11 mark of the first half.

BU responded just 20 seconds later on Tamara Webb's first goal of the season to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead at halftime. Clark and Darkoah were credited with the assists.

Clark netted her second goal of the match in the 69th minute on pass by Aubriana Batchelor.

Alison Staub scored the final goal of the game at 81:13 on a pass by Stacey Hanson to give BU the 4-1 win.

The Bruins held a 17-16 edge in shots and were led by Darkoah's five shots while Betsy Fischenich tallied three.

Sammy Sinecio recorded a career-high nine saves and improved to 4-1-0 in goal for the Bruins. Nicole Ladoucer notched six saves in the loss for the Jimmies.

The BU women's soccer team will travel to Forest City, Iowa on Saturday, Nov. 2 for a conference match at Waldorf College. Kick-off is scheduled for noon at Bolstorff Field.
